The woman at the concession stand asked if I wanted cheese (it's more like liquid cheese where you wonder if you are going to grow an extra limb after consuming them) or salsa. The lines get long because we are constantly understaffed, and they force us to be working at different departments at the same time (if you are working at the Xscape arcade, they will ask you to serve at concession and clean theatres on floor while watching Xscape at the same time). The escalator was blocked by a cutout, and the escalators are not functioning. Both were after 7:00, perfect for us, so we drove to the theatre from our home in Aurora, and arrived with minutes to spare.I initially didn't eat anything at the theatre because I was saving up for dinner. I used my points with my Cineplex app and simply presented the barcode when I got there.I had no problem finding parking. If you're visiting or live in Vaughan, I'd highly recommend you to go there. Trust me, it's better than the (now abandoned) AMC across the highway. Initially this was a good part-time job with flexible hours, especially around school. Overall, it's not a bad place to see a movie - there are lots of theaters and they have IMAX, which isn't easily found elsewhere, so it is still a bit of a draw. What else can you ask for? Very flexible hours, however at times you will probably get 1 shift aka 5 hours a week. CaptiView captioning system is available. Fun environment with great perks but a lot of late hour shifts. Um ok. We were waiting about 10 minutes for the flash storm to pass before walking home. You meet great people here. Overall, it was a positive experience and would definitely consider coming back. This is the kind of place that makes me happy I don't need to sit on anything or touch anything that isn't my body or my clothes when I go into a bathroom (the sinks being the only exception if I don't have hand sanitizer with me).This theater still is 1 of the only 3 cinemas in all of Ontario (and for hours of driving beyond) that you can go see a 70mm IMAX movie in full resolution & as a "real & full" IMAX experience so that's one of the only reasons I would still ever go to this theater and that's the sole excuse for my giving them a 2nd star in this review as opposed to just a 1/5.So yeah, avoid this place unless you have almost no other choice OR they 1) make some serious changes in how their theater is run, 2) upgrade the hardware they're using, and 3) get an electrician who actually knows how to install lights properly to reinstall their theater lighting system.
